[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This artificial heron stands guard over a pond in the gardens of Bourton House.

It is thought that an artificial heron will keep other herons away, and prevent them eating the ornamental fish.

However, I have heard that in the breeding season, desperate male herons may even be attracted to these artificial birds with bizarre results.

Hello Peter,
Good pov looking over the garden; the eye is diagonally taken from the planting through the picture to the house. Nice colours and good clarity.

Hi Peter,
Well composed with good perspective. I agree with Stephen regarding the POV. The heron looking to the building is also enhancing the perspective.
Regards
Gunnar
