Another shot taken in these beautiful gardens, which were looking at their best, in spite of our typically English wet summer weather.

This day was lovely and sunny though.

Hi Peter,
Beautiful flowers in the foreground and a well balanced composition. Interesting history; I checked it on bourtonhouse.com.
Regards
Gunnar

Hi Peter,
Typical English landscape with various flowers surrounding this nice house. You managed the light very well, from delicate blue of the sky to the plants in the foreground.
I suppose it would be better if you had chosen a bit different point of view, few metres left or right, just to get also depth of this house.

Hi Peter, a typically English scene. The gardens are beautiful and provide a lovely frame for the house.Regards, Jean

Hi Peter. A good quality shot which handles the light well to get pretty good sharpness on the flowers, always difficult in pretty bright sunlight. I think Vedrana's point is a good one, that getting some of the side of the building into the composition would have given a bit more light and shade and therefore depth. But it's a delightful scene with the flowers making a good frame for the house. I visited this area about 12 years ago; I recall a village called Burton on the Water in the Cotswolds. Lovely area.
Regards,
Andrew
