Bourton House Garden
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
The beautiful 3 acre gardens at Bourton House have been created since the present owners took over in 1983.
In 2006 the HHA/Christie's Garden of the Year Award was won by them.
The gardens are open to the public during the summer months. |

Hi Peter,
I like this POV with emphasis on the flowers in the FG. Wonderful colours that really ask to be painted. I guess you will do that.
Regards
Gunnar
Hello Peter,
A very good well balanced composition. The light and colours are excellent but I fear it lacks some sharpness, particularly in relation to the stonework.
Beautiful shot, Peter. Should have more critiques in my view, for the very good viewpoint and delightful array of colours. I suspect it needs a degree more sharpness. Just noticed Stephen said the same thing. The exposure is terrific, the light superb. I love the way you have placed the building in the top right corner. Really a good shot that just needs a tad more sharpness.
By the way, thanks for the crit on my Severn Bridge shot; your ferry crossing must have been just before the work on the bridge started.
All the best,
Andrew
