Swan Hotel Garden in The Cotswold
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| It was raining and even though I was getting wet, I couldn't resist the beauty of this place. This is actually adjacent to a commercial trout farm and across the street from the Swan Hotel. The Cotswold is one of the most lovely places on this earth and I would never tire of visiting there. I tried to shoot at the slowest shutter speed I could and still remain steady (I had no tripod with me) to capture the grace of the falling water. |

Hello John,
Welcome to TrekEarth. This photo is a beautiful debut. The colors and scenery is great. Next time I would sharpen the photo a bit but great job nevertheless. I expect to see more beautiful shots like this from you.
Regards,
Erdem

Kind regards,

Hello John, this is a lovely shot. It looks very inviting. I hope the recent floods haven't spoilt this lovely place.

Hi John,
Along with everyone else here, let me say "Welcome to TrekEarth" and congratulate you on a delghtful first photo.
I actually live quite close to Bibury and 3 weeks ago got married here at the Swan Hotel. Most of our wedding photos were taken in these beautiful gardens next to the river.
It's a pleasing composition here with the little run-off stream heading to the bottom right and the two 'big' trees are nicely positioned within the frame. Colours are lovely and it's nice that you haven't oversharpened the image in the post-processing stage. It's pretty sharp for a 1/40 sec. hand-held with no image stabilising. Look forward to seeing some more of your photos in the future.
Best regards,
Rich
This is a well composed picture with great color. Nice job.
