A shot of the foreshore at Walton-on-the-Naze at low tide, taken around 50 minutes before dawn.

The shore is mainly London Clay, with a thin layer of sand on top. When the tide goes out it sculpts it into various shapes, in the background you can see one of the seaweed covered World War 2 pillboxes that have been eroded off the nearby cliffs.

What a cracker of a picture amazing DOF in the shot.Great texture and detail in the shot. Would make a crackin B+W shot
