[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
First shot posted from my new Nikon D200. I must be mad, it's 1 deg C out there and the wind is ripping in from the North (i.e. Arctic wind coming off the North Sea) so about minus 4 with the wind-chill! It was also really dark and I didn't have my tripod with me. I like the slight blur of the walker and dog and the rest is pretty sharp for hand-held at 1/20 second!

Hi Paul, my congratulations on new D200! Yes, this blur is in place. Good weather reproduction, nice compo. Did you notice those vertical stripes on your images from D200?

Well done hand-holding at 1/20sec. You have conveyed the cold misty atmosphere well. I live on the North-east coast so can identify with you about the weather at the moment.
Nothing like a new camera to bring us out in all weathers. I am envious of the D200. How do you like it?
Kath

You did very well to keep the majority of your photo in focus in poor light with the added bonus of slight blur on the walker which emphasises movement. Excellent! Like "feather" I am also jealous of your new camera!
Trish
