Photographer's Note

To celebrate "All Saints Day" today's post is a view of All Saints Church in the East Sussex village of West Dean, England. The village is situated on the edge of the Friston Forest and dates from Saxon times; the church also has traces of Saxon origin and was built in the 11th century.

A fine perspective on this attractive country church. The gravestones bottom right nicely counterbalance the church in this well composed shot. The image is nicely lit and the tones and textures in the architecture beautifully rendered.
