Ypres Tower

This is Ypres Tower, also simply called Rye Castle in the town of Rye, East Sussex. The castle was built in 1249, when Henry III gave the Cinque Port of Rye permission for the construction of the castle as part of the defence against the French. It is now part of the Rye Castle Museum.
