Photographer’s Note
Taken on a bright, sunny, but very windy day in Eastbourne. The boat trips to Beachy Head Lighthouse were struggling to attract customers on account of the very choppy seas.
The man seems quite interested - the woman slightly less so.

hello Roberto,
I always enjoy these snatches of time shots. Yours is a freeze frame of daily life ( well, maybe day trip life!).It's nice that they are holding hands still.I like the gentle humour too.

Lovely one, Roberto!
It has everything I would ask for, for this type of image.
Harsh sun but skillful shadow rendering, vivid colurs,
people both shot from front and back, and lovely vivid
colours so special for summer.
I can feel the breeze and salt in the air...

I bet I can guess who won that argument...! Nice piece of social documentary, Robert. Excellently well spotted and a lovely story.
Regards, Paul.
