The Beachy Head Photo

Photographer’s Note

Another shot of the magnificent British cliffs. This time it presents the Beachy Head, which is located a few miles southwest of Eastbourne. The beacon just beneath the clif f looks like the final human outpost, constantly attacked by the forces of nature. This pic was taken in the late afternoon.

Hi Michal,

I like the upper part very much, that's beautiful and very well caught. I would probably get rid of some of the bottom part though, you could crop it I believe.

Imponent image with very well mastered metering for the light.
The POV and perspective are excellent. The scale of the image is implicitly presumed comparing with the house light dimensions.

breathtaking view
i love the fact that the horizon is barely visible; it gives a feeling of vastness
i also like the pinks on the clifs and on the clouds and sea

Genialne zdjecie.
Tak jakby ktos tam z gory spogladal na ten nasz swiat ;-)
Swietne kadrowanie, barwy i przede wszystkim genialny klimat.
Co do uwagi seb36... ja uwazam, ze jest dobrze, a dolna czesc dodaje zdjeciu kontrastu ;-)

Superb example of well composed seascape. An image with a deep sense of perspective where the eye focus onto the beacon and the lightray. Very good choice,
