Photographer’s Note
Warm sunny day, the sea is glittering yet I feel that special English touch, kinda like a tiny bit of nostalgy.
So, so you think you can tell
Heaven from Hell,
Blue skys from pain.
Can you tell a green field
From a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
And did they get you to trade
Your heros for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change?
And did you exchange
A walk on part in the war
For a lead role in a cage?
How I wish, how I wish you were here.
We're just two lost souls
Swimming in a fish bowl,
Year after year,
Running over the same old ground.
What have we found?
The same old fears.
Wish you were here.

Howdy Speedmanu!
Wonderful pier. Excellent lightness and brightness. Good POV, capture and exposure.
Regards.

At Eastbourne on the south coast you will be shooting into the sun for the most part of the day, which is why the sky has become over-exposed. It's not easy to avoid. However it is an image filled with nostalgia of a typical English beach with trademark deckchairs and trademark pier.

Quite a good composition, well balanced and with a fine perspective. I like the repeated pattern of the blue chairs and their fine position in the photo. Pity for the burnt sky. (In this cases one needs a ND graduate filter).
Best regards,
Donato
(The song is one of my favorites)
