Photographer’s Note
Eastbourne beach in the winter, as with many beaches on the south coast of England, they are often largely made up of shingles, medium sized pebbles.
Not as much fun for the children who want to build sand castles but they make a wonderful sound in the winter when the waves are crashing on to them.
They also give endless amusement to people walking on them who spend ages throwing the shingles back in to the sea, people have been doing this for hundreds of years but the sea brings them back twice a day when the tide and the waves return. No matter how many and how often you throw them in to the sea you never win.

Hello Mike
Love your composition. Great POV. I particularly enoyed the crisp, clear & clean lines of the closed refreshment shed. Love the B&W which extenuates the myriad of shade depths.
Warm regards,
Graham

hello Mike
I've taken a picture of the same spot and your composition is very evocative. It has a great atmosphere and the black and white coice is a fine one.
Regards
Emmanuel
