Photographer’s Note

Another view of these nice cabins along the seashore. Still thinking of that same Pink Floyd song, Home.

Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day
You fritter and waste the hours in an offhand way.
Kicking around on a piece of ground in your home town
Waiting for someone or something to show you the way.

Tired of lying in the sunshine staying home to watch the rain.
You are young and life is long and there is time to kill today.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you.
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun.

So you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking
Racing around to come up behind you again.
The sun is the same in a relative way but you're older,
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death.

Every year is getting shorter never seem to find the time.
Plans that either come to naught or half a page of scribbled lines
Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way
The time is gone, the song is over,
Thought I'd something more to say.

Une image typique de bord de mer, je vois que les cabines de plage s'exportent même en Angleterre ! Et c'est tant mieux tant ces petites maisonnettes offrent un beau graphisme à celui qui saura le révéler...
C'est très bien vu, habilement cadré, et la belle lumière nous renvoit à une belle journée de printemps.
Agréable par les temps qui courent ;o)

J'aime bien aussi le côté très dépouillé de l'image... la simplicité paye. la netteté pourrait être à peine plus accentuée et j'aurais fait un petit redressement de perspective pour que les verticales soient bien droite!

this is such an attractive minimalism composition. You made great use of the shapes and the pastel colors. I like the division of layers in this semi-panorama format. Well done and thanks for the song!

Une belle image très simple, cette simplicité valorise le bel effet graphique provoqué par la régularité des cabines. Un excellent cadrage qui brise cette régularité en offrant une perspective vers la mer. Bien vu.

I like the tight almost abstract composition and the attractive colour combination.
Every surface has its own structure and that makes the composition also special.

J'aime beaucoup le style de tes photos, très graphiques, simples et bien balancées. Ces petites cabines aux couleurs douces et cette plage qui semble déserte, c'est très joli.

Salut Emmanuel,
Je découvre ta galerie ce soir et je me régale bien avec toutes ces photos qui jouent si bien avec les signes, les lignes et le graphisme. Aucun doute, tu as le sens de la composition.
Je m'arrête sur celle-ci bien faite avec ce cadrage bien choisi en laissant un espace vide à gauche.
