Photographer’s Note

While taking this picture along the seaside in Eastbourne I couldn't help but think of this Pink Floyd's song : Home

Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day
You fritter and waste the hours in an offhand way.
Kicking around on a piece of ground in your home town
Waiting for someone or something to show you the way.

Tired of lying in the sunshine staying home to watch the rain.
You are young and life is long and there is time to kill today.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you.
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun.

So you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking
Racing around to come up behind you again.
The sun is the same in a relative way but you're older,
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death.

Every year is getting shorter never seem to find the time.
Plans that either come to naught or half a page of scribbled lines
Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way
The time is gone, the song is over,
Thought I'd something more to say.

J’aime beaucoup le mois de mai, c’est très agréable de sentir l’été s’installer tout doucement !

This your last photo is is the demonstration of your cleverness and your good photographic technique. I like a lot the combination of the colors and the good sharp. Compliments!

Bonsoir, Emmanuel,
Petits galets et cabines de bain revues et corrigées. Ces cabines gardent un certain charme, elles tendent à disparaître particulièrement sur les côtes normandes françaises.
En mai, fais ce qu'il te plaît, c'est ce que semble faire l'homme tranquillement installé sur un relax protégé du vent avec la mer pour témoin !

je viens de découvrir ton intéressante galerie et me suis arrêtée sur cette image pour laquelle j'aime bien le graphisme, l'expo, la bonne lumière qui a donné des couleurs vives...
on pourrait croire qu'il n'y a personne, mais les deux jambes prouvent le contraire ;)

Emmanuel, good morning to you.
Yes, we have been to the same place and enjoyed the same views. I like your picture of the beach huts, all the variation of blue, then there is the mystery of the mans legs, I assume he is enjoying the sun or reading a book, but may be we should call Inspector Clouseau.
