Late afternoon November sun on the lower promenade walk, in the City of Brighton, East Sussex, England. Here you can get an ice cream and have your palm read by Professor Mirza and then enjoy a hot dog!

Great shot in the afternoon sun. The strong compositional detail reflects the level of thought that you put into your compositions. The placement of the stairs, the considered amount of inclusion of the rich blue sky, the visibility of the signage on the left signboard, the oblique angle of the blue pavers finishing on the bottom right corner: all considered when choosing your firing position.
(I even recognise the location)

your composition is again superb here. Like the interesting reddish light which is fallen on the buildings. Great tonal quality and sharpness. Superb work. Tfs.

I like the lines in your composition, the stairs, the cables, the pavements, the shadows
Everything is line !!
A huge saturation especially the reds in the MIRZA sign...

A bit cold for ice cream at the moment, though a hot dog might go down well! This pair of promenade kiosks make a very interesting photographic subject captured under the afternoon sun. The image is well balanced with the folding advertising board making an unusual pointer toward the main subject and the palm making a fine focal point. I like the warm light and colours. Brighton in late autumn was always worth a visit when most of the crowds have gone home.

la mitica Brighton, uno dei luoghi più frequentati della Gran Bretagna qui in versione deserta, ma con una luce calda assai deliziosa che incendia i colori delle insegne e delle pareti creando una particolare atmosfera molto rarefatta.
Ciao e buona giornata

Hello Brian - A neat and interesting composition here with deep rich colours which I like. As always your attention to detail shines through. Ice cream? I don't think so but I may be tempted to have my palm read... it's itching and I like to confirm that I'm in for a windfall! Warm regards Rosemary

Je prédis une indigestion après le passage par la boutique ice cream :) La lumière rasante du soir illumine de façon incroyable les deux boutiques.

this beautiful warm afternoon light gives the scene a special ambience.
Really love the way it illuminates the scene and how it affects the color scheme of it.
Despite I assume rather cold November weather the scene feels so warm and pleasant.
Have a good day

I'm not quite sure which would be worse for your health - an ice cream followed by a greasy hot dog or having one's future predicted by Professor Mirza. Interestingly, I see that his website doesn't seem to exist! :o)
An excellent and well composed photograph which has made the very most of this rather quaint subject by using the amazing quality of the warm late afternoon sunlight to best effect, allowing the two little arched premises to stand out wonderfully against their surroundings and also the deep blue sky above.
Glorious light and colours, excellent composition, perfect exposure and, as always, exquisite details and clarity.

I like this diversity of shops taken in a wonderful warm sunlight. Great catch, interesting idea.
Have a great weekend.

This has everything that I enjoy about your photographic work, light, colour and contrast. How clever to have that line of silvery/grey paving stones in the FG.
Very fine work.
Kind Regards, Ann
