A Shoreham-by-sea registered fishing boat "SM80" lies in Brighton Marina in East Sussex, England. Tied up and at rest on the quayside waiting for the high tide and another nights fishing in the English Channel.

This is a fine "close cropped" composition with wonderfully vibrant strong colours and strong contrasts aided by the bright sunlight.
Great bold straight and curved lines run through the picture and the spherical ball of the float is perfectly placed in the frame. Technically exceptional, as always!

Less is more, a great detail Brian! I can smell the sea! Sun in Brighton! The three times i've been in, it was cloudy...Bad luck!

A beautiful nautical study ! With a striking arrangement of different curves and one strong diagonal. Love the well rendered textures and warm light too.

Hello Brain - A colourful slice with a nautical theme, beautifully framed with precise alignment and use of corners. Lovely sunny colours too, the fine detail in the painted SM80 is particularly impressive. Lovely shot! Have a great evening Rosemary

Hello Brian. Such photos stimulate the eye. Boats are very good for this object. The narrow display area I really like. Really beautiful and worth seeing.

Looking at your pictures have to do the sorting of the details and research highlight.
Typical English, "cockade" the "ribbon" "the striking and unusual"
In this picture, a color palette. An assembly of ranked particular.
The dominant element typical of paintings on wood of the "Pub".
