A view of marina life in the inner basin of Brighton Marina, East Sussex, England. The houseboat barge in the foreground is called "La Belle Dame". The marina completed in 1979 is the largest in Europe with 1500 berths, and is a mixture of gated communities with private moorings as well as being a large leisure complex with shops, boutiques, bars, restaurants, hotel, bowling alley, cinema, health club and casino.

Hello Brian,
A fin composition that makes good use of the houseboat as a pointer toward the background buildings and cliffs, not an angle we often see on Brighton. The image is pleasantly lit and has some agreeable reflections. Very good colour contrasts and excellent sharpness.

Another well coomposed, pin sharp shot. Nice use of the boat as a leading line and the top of the cliff placed more or less on the line of the upper third.

the boat, the buildings, and even the royal blue sky is reflected brightly.

Always read the note.
Impossible for us in this position on the coast of Sardinia.
But it is worse in the landscape.
Attention to detail (the roof of the house flush with the roof of the boat) suggests a tripod.
beautiful colors, reflections and absolute clarity.
