Photographer's Note
I have posted many images of this magnificent Regency masterpiece that is the Royal Pavilion in the city of Brighton, East Sussex, England. This shot was taken late afternoon with the low spring sunshine and shadows making its beauty and artistry all the more distinct. Plus you can see how close it is to the busy main road from London and also the old lamps that line that road and the surrounding pavilion gardens.

Good Morning Brian,
This is absolutely beautiful!
It looks so unEnglish and yet the soft light is very typically English!
You have made a good choice to go for the symmetrical composition for it emphasises the regularity of the building. The clarity and sharpness are excellent.
Have a lovely day,
Bev :-)

Hello Brian - Now this is an exceptionally beautiful shot. The light is gorgeous, soft and revealing, all the fine details in the architecture are wonderfully well displayed and there is lovely modelling on the dome. Colours are wonderful, sharpness spot-on and composition symmetrical and appealing. Brilliant work. Warm regards rosemary
PS. As a matter of interest what was you FL on this shot.

Salut brian,
malgré la soleil, mais bien placé, les lumières douces reposent tout en conservant l'éclat des couleurs. Joli ciel d'un beau bleu pour coiffer cet édifice photographié dans ses finesses.
Un cadrage en symétrie bien pensé.
Mes compliments.
Daniel.

Dear Brian
I completely understand why you have so many shots of this gorgeous place: I would too if it was on my doorstep. It really is magnificent - and so little known to those outside Britain. To think that you have your own mini-version of the Taj is quite impressive. Anyway, yet another POV that emphasises the majesty and beauty of this building. Perfectly sharp, skillfully composed with marvellous light.
Thanks for sharing and I wish you a beautiful evening

Hello Brian,
The exposure and sharpness are just perfect revealing all the wonderful details on this fine building. Glorious light has highlighted the colours with the green grass and almost pink pavement forming a lovely foreground. A masterclass in architectual photography!
Kind regards, Ann

Hello Brian,
Now, this really is my cup of tea!
You have chosen a perfect viewpoint here. In fact, you have chosen it very wisely indeed because what is really intriguing is that the composition in the upper part is almost perfectly symmetrical whereas in the lower half the lamppost and the ballustrade/railings are offset from centre, all culminating in a very pleasing overall composition.
The lighting too is superb, the light from the side "modelling" the fine intricacies of the architecture beautifully and giving an almost three dimensional appearance.
Beautiful colours (not oversaturated), perfect exposure and stunning sharpness and clarity.
Outstanding!
Kind Regards,
John.

Hello Brian
Strange to see a little India architectural gem in England. Sometimes its nice not to have to spend hours on a plane when something similar is right in your own backyard! Good colour, lighting & textural details. I like the repetition of the 3 fluted turrets. Tfs!

Hi Brian,
I do not usually pay enough attention to major landmarks as there are so many of them everywhere but this is the best photo of the Pavilion I have seen so far. Spectacular light, great crop, sharpness and colours.
Thanks for sharing
