Photographer's Note
Late afternoon winter sunshine bathes a warm glow and the shadows of the chimney tops across Belgrave Place in the City of Brighton in East Sussex, England. Set back just off the seafront it is testament to Brighton's rich Regency heritage and a fine example of this attractive architectural style.

Hi Brian,
Very well seen and captured architecture with amazing play of light and shadows on its façade. The intensive warm tones are so spectacular and give an unique input to your work. Have a nice Sunday!

Hi Brian
I'd be tempted to adjust levels on this one, adding more brightness & contrast. Well managed perspective, with good diagonal lead in lines coming in from both the top left & right corners. Perfect sharpness & marvellous warm cold color contrasts, between the honey yellow & indigo sky. Tfs, & have a wonderful Sunday!

Hello Brian,
This is indeed a fine example of Regency architecture and you have captured it superbly!
The low, warm afternoon light has imbued the building with a lovely orange glow, in stark contrast to the dark and moody sky. As you point out in your note, the shadows across the face of the building are wonderful with details of every chimneypot clearly seen.
Lovely symmetrical composition, fabulous lighting, perfect exposure (in very difficult conditions) and exquisite sharpness.
Beautiful!
Kind Regards,
John.
P.S. I was wondering if you used a polariser for this one? Perhaps not, otherwise I suspect you would have mentioned it in your note!

Hi Brian,
You caught a great light here ! The contrast between shadows ad light add volume to the composition and makes a great atmosphere. Nice symetry too. Well done !
Thanks for sharing,
Olivier
