Photographer's Note
Seen here in the light of an early spring sunset, The Madeira Lift (Elevator) and Shelter Hall were constructed in the 1830's and are part of the 2,837 foot (865 meters) long terrace built at the same time. Both are listed buildings made of iron and were designed as a means of descending from Madeira Drive down to the lower level of Marine Parade in the City of Brighton, East Sussex, England.

Hello Brian,
I would not be able to solve a riddle like "....guess in which country this building is located...".
The colors together with the name don´t remind me of England, but I have never been to Brighton, just my fault.
Have a nice weekend

Lovely wrought iron work in a lovely shade of green Brian and contrasting beautifully with the brick work. A lovely architectural detail and the epitome of the English sea-side. Have a great weekend Rosemary.
PS A small thought ... maybe you could remove the stray lamp post for a cleaner look.

Hi Brian!
Striking warm cold colour contrasts between the red & blue & the green at the bottom fits in well here too. Good sharpness & superb framing & upward pov with careful attention to perspective. Have a great Weekend!

Hello Brian,
This is a well composed photograph of this beautiful piece of 19th Century engineering built in the days when they managed to combine both function and beauty when they worked in iron.
The tower is placed perfectly in the frame and the angled lines of the upper railings are echoed perfectly in the lower set of railings. Lovely vibrant colours, a beautiful sky and, as always, stunning detail and sharpness.
Excellent!
Kind Regards,
John.
