Hi Richard.
I looked at the other shots of this pier and think this one is the best, the b/w treatment emphasising the melancholy aspect of a ruined pier. The pose of the woman suggests a degree of apathy, the 'daily life' aspect perhaps! Anyway, an unusual and almost disturbing shot.

Hi Richard,
This shows feeling of gone glory well with the pier almost disappeared. B&W fits well and the woman is well placed, head down emphasizing feeling of melancholy.
Reminds of opera stage in Bregenz.

Hi Richard. This has such a menacing and dramatic look. I thought Hiroshima or some place like that. It is sad to see the blackened ruins of what was once a place of fun. You have managed a dramatic and imposing image of it thought. regards kevin
