Good Morning Brian,
A vertical format was the best choice for this shot as it really emphasises the relationship between the colonnade and the bandstand. (I can just imagine your position as you took this!) The lines are flowing and carry us smoothly to the focal dome, standing proud against the sea and sky.
The distant headland gives a great sense of depth.
Have a lovely day,
After a couple of lovely day, it is bucketing down, here!

Have a nice week.

Very well seen this. As always with your shots, the light is superb The bookmark format is very effective with the cupola making a splendid focal point. Excellent colours and clarity.

il soggetto e la balaustra sono inquadrati a perfezione per metterne in evidenza le forme.
Anche la luce ti da un valido aiuto e scolpisce l'architettura soprattutto nelle parti più brillanti e nei mezzitoni.
Colori e nitidezza straordinari.
Ciao e buona giornata

Hello Brian - The sensuous curve forms a strong compositional element leading the eye to the attractively lit dome of the bandstand Brian. The colours are wonderfully harmonious and your veryical format a good choice.

The Vertical composition works very for this scene, it provide and enhances the depth of the image. I know the sky is really attractive, but I might still have crop away some if the extra space on the top. Either way, it is great just a matter of preference.

love the perspective and the way you used this balustrade to lead our eyes towards the BG.
Lovely light and strong,well-saturated colors are a magnificent culmination of this strong, graphical composition.

I think that this kind of seaside architecture is very attractive. Using the curve as a lead in is excellent and suits the vertical format. A gorgeous blue sky and lovely stone coloured tones all make for a super image.
Kind Regards, Ann
