Truly eye-catching graphic shot with a number of skilfully placed lines leading the viewer's eye towards the centre of the image and the lovely wispy clouds in the sky.
Have a nice day

a fascinating composition is here. I love the play with light and shadow. Great to see the curved fence with its shadow. Excellent presentation in vertical. Great depth and sharpness as usual. Superb work. Tfs.

Your way of capturing the image is different and nice. I like the composition very well.

one of the nice things at this time of year is the low angle of the sun and you have used the shadows that have been cast by the colonnade to very good effect.
The sweeping curve works very well giving lots of depth to an imaginative composition where you have handled the contrasting light expertly.
All the best Les.

Great composition of this photo, I like the curve of the barrier and fantastic shadows, compliments

Ciao e buona serata

This screams 'Brian'. The disciplined composition, the fabulous contrasts, the excellent light and saturated sky are all trademarks of your style. I just love the sweeping line of the balustrade and the echo provided by the deep shadow,

Good evening Brian,
Fine chosen perspective over the curved stone-railing and the open-pavilon dome adorned with the beautiful lamp-posts.
The seashore promenade looks inviting and phgotography-wise most intriguing.
The side light gave a marvelous texture of the shadows on the pavement. Nice moment on photo.

excellent frame composition with front and background, very good balance of blue and white and nice use of shadows as a main part of the picture.

Superbe!

Simple but excellent photo in superb light. I like how you have arranged the part of sea promenade not forgetting to show small part of sea water in BG. The small pavilion is well placed in the frame. The light and shadow play is superb.
Very well done.

magnificent view, lovely curved perspective and really superb play of light&shade, which makes the scene so eye-catching.
This simple combination of blue and white colors is really delightful. At first I though it was Greece and I´ve missed such beautiful place on Santorini:)
You gave an artistic touch to this scene!
Have a nice day

Great Pov, showing this beautiful colonnade to it's full glory.
Love the shadows and play of light and patterns.
You have been very lucky lately with all these super blue skies we have been having.

Great capture Brian. Love the strong shadows and the clear blue sky. I wonder if you'd thought about cropping a little of the sky to improve the balance?

Lovely and charming details!
Sharpness, exposure, colors, vertical format, dof, chosen pov and composition are all excellent!
TFS - congrats,

I might have tried to get the entire shadow at left which is slightly cropped. Assuming there's no tall lamp post attached would explain the framing. I probably would have done the same crop in those circumstances. Looks a little bit like Greece with those blue and white colors! Nice sharpness and density. Tfs!

I think we've seen this scene from you before right?
you made this one look alot easier to photograph than it really is - i bet its a doozy to compose correctly, i think it would drive me crazy :)
you've got depth, movement, curves, color contrasts, and light/shadow contrasts...nicely done my friend.
