Well not quite, but this shot of one of the domes on the King George V colonnade, does look like a flying saucer perched on stilts. Just my crazy imagination! The King George V colonnade graces the seafront in the East Sussex town of Bexhill-on-sea, England. Seen here against the sun and under a blue sky.

I have to admire the amount of detail that is shown in the roof of the dome, very nicely done.
There is a resemblance to a flying saucer when viewed quickly from this low view point that adds more intrigue to a well conceived shot.
I also enjoy that lovely sky.
All the best Les.

hello Brian, I like your idea to show it like this with such an imagination. I like your soccers which you captured with great sharpness and depth. Like the contrasting colours. Very good exposer management too. An excellent work. Tfs.

The tight framing works perfectly concentrating the attention on the subject. Ideally exposed and with a lovely blue sky, which makes a great backdrop for the flying saucer. Come back Dan Dare!

Hello Brian - I agree with Les here, the detail on the underside of the dome is very well managed and the concave shape is evident. I like the colour harmony and the isolation of the dome from its location. I'm not sure about the flying saucer but the shot is unusual and attractive.

It does resemble a flying saucer, especially with the clouds rising, steam-like, from its upper surface!
You have had a good eye, here.
The tight crop gives presence to the 'v' shaped sunlight, acting as a guide into the dome. There are lovely tasters of the colonnade and its shadows, whilst colour changes define inside and outside surfaces.
Have a lovely day,

It is not easy to take a photo against the light, the sun is hidden behind the dome, it creates a moody photo with beautiful colors, very well done

Ta "soucoupe volante à pattes" a fière allure devant ce beau ciel. Belle réalisation photographique.

masterful use of light here to create so attractive visual effect!
I like your POV and slightly upward perspective so nicely juxtaposing the dome with the blue sky.
Eye-catching and very atmospheric scene!
Have a nice day

J'aime le cadrage avec l'entrée bien placée, le jeu de lumière et puis ce merveilleux bleu qui met si bien en valeur le dôme, très jolie réalisation

love the light here. It seems to me exposure must have been quite tricky. Anyhow, you got that right.
