Herrington Country Park was opened in 2003 on the site of a former colliery and opencast mine. What was once an eyesore with a very large slagheap is being transformed (trees take time to grow!) into a large pleasant leisure area. This park is used by the whole community every weekend.
The sun was out and in the background you can see a field of wheat yet to be cut.

Picture with strong composition.
The lines and the effect of light and shadows and the perspective, everything is just fantastic.

Belle perspective de la barrière et de son ombre, belle lumière et couleurs,je l'aurai bien vue en format horizontale et avoir une vue plus étendue sur le paysage qui semble bien agréable a regarder, bon coup d'oeil quand même :-)

I must say I like all of your photos and they all have their own quality, but I chose this one because of the contrast of the persective given by the boardwalk and the abstractness of the clouds. Great colours and depth.

Nice perspective of the platform, playing well with the shadows to compose an interesting view. The sky is also wonderful. Simple but beautiful, congratulations!
