Photographer’s Note
I wanted to capture Corfe Castle with some of the "modern" Corfe Village, not entirely happy with the composition (I think it may be a little congested) but hopefully you get a feel for how the old castle ruins stand over the village below.
For those that have never been to Corfe, the castle is a joy to photograph and so is the village. With its old pubs, beautiful church and surrounding hills to provide numerous vantage points for I imagine amazing dawns / sunset pictures (but we were there in the middle of the day).
Very little PP, just a small crop to remove the heads of a few drinkers outside the Greyhound pub and a touch of saturation.

Hi Paul:
I think the composition works quite well, actually. The castle fills up that open spot of sky perfectly, and I like the title. The image seems a little on the light side (but of course I like darker, more saturated images), and it could use a bit more warmth, but otherwise it's a great shot. Thanks for sharing.
