Photographer’s Note
Corfe Castle, Dorset.
I really like the National Trust sign on the right, makes it somehow feel real and the colours really stand out but hopefully not so much as to detract the eye away from the castle itself.
This is an HDR image created from one RAW file (my first attempt at such a thing) and I am pretty happy with it, hope you are too.

Hello Paul,
I see we are neighbors and indeed with photos evocative of each other — medieval towers. From my days in England (Oxford) in the 70s, I remember a visit to Corfe Castle. Neither the light, nor the setting was quite as memorable as this. Well composed, beautifully exposed image, with the castle framed by the arched doorway.
Warm regards,
Bulent

Paul,
The arch frames the scene wonderfully attracting our attention to the castle ruins. The lighting and colors are fine with nice sharpness and DOF. The people add a good sense of scale for the scene.
TFS,
Asa
