Resting in Weymouth Marina was this little blue boat.
The most sheltered piece of water on Earth, it's our little hurricane hole.
Thread your way through the outer harbour, then through the Town's lifting bridge, and you'll find yourself right in the middle of this delightful town with it's history and vibrant lifestyle.
Well placed between the Solent/ Poole and the West Country, Weymouth offers the shortest channel crossing for your cruise to the Channel Islands and the Cherbourg peninsula. For less ambitious cruising, there’s the beautiful Jurassic Coast to explore, and if that’s too much you can relax on the town’s sandy beach and then kick back in one of the many bars and restaurants.
The adjacent railway station connects you to London, Bristol, or anywhere really. And the new road in to Weymouth is a dream come true. For Guernsey or Jersey, jump on the Condor machine.

It looks like Noddy No-mate moored all alone like this:-) You have composed the shot perfectly; the square crop makes an ideal frame. I like the light and colours; the image has very good clarity. Thanks for sharing.

an image right up my street this one. I do have a fascination with boats and this one looks to be in a better state than the one I posted today. Beautifully composed and detailed image this being aptly expressive of the industry and leisure time of the seafarers of Weymouth.

such a beautiful compo with that flagship in the foreground:)) Great colors and details, that red anchor buoy is so perfectly placed. I do like the texture and the shadows on the water too. Good work.

Very nice composition with the main subject in the foreground with a background full of other boats, a lot of details to see! Very good colors and sharpness! Beautiful job!

Yes it is little in comparison with the very huge ones at the back
The protagonist is well placed at the front in the calm waters

Amazing harbour scenery from Weymouth.
The red buoy in the bottom part adds a very unique note to this capture.
TFS and have a nice day

The little blue boat laden with fishing gear and a broom (?) makes a super main subject here Leslie and the forest of masts indicate just how popular the marina is. I find much to enjoy in this shot and especially like the way the view of the little boat is unhindered by unnecessary intrusions. Looks like Weymouth has a wealth of charm. Warm regards Rosemary

nice catch from the port area. Nice blue boat in water, though I think bit angular POV would look better. But it depends not only in photographer's choice... Excellent background. Sharp image quality and magnificent colours. An enjoyable one. Tfs.
