Photographer’s Note

This is Durdle Door on the south coast of England. A very popular place for photographers, mainly due to the stunning geology. I had been photographing the arch from the beach as the sun lit it golden. After the sun dipped beyond the distant headland, I headed up the hill for this composition.

Good light of course but the best thing is the composition with one rock formation taking of along a corner to corner line combined with the sweeping curve of the softer beach below. Great choice of POV to get this.

Absolutly beautiful. Colors, framing, everything is just perfect. I would like to see more of the cliffs on the right, but that's just me nit picking. Still great.
