[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
If you’re a statue and the pigeons are really getting to you, what can you do about it?
Simple: get down off your pedestal and point your toes in a new direction.

So, dear readers, if this weekend is not to your liking, don’t let the pigeons and seagulls get to you!
Pick up your cameras and walk

Tech: shot in RAW, converted to jpg, reduced and sharpened

The image is admittedly not technically perfect but this was a point and shoot situation -- our statue was moving surprisingly quickly, not wanting to get caught, I think! If it makes you smile, then I have done my job for today (^o^)

Thanks for looking and have a wonderful weekend

Hi Silke,
well done. Never seen a better statue in movement (but this is not an often situation). Looks very strange with his grey in the colours around and with this concentrated face.
Lieben Gruss, Ulf

Hi Silke,

A nice photo of the statue, the POV is showing a lot of details. It is giving the impression that it is moving. The photo has a good composition, sharpness and nice colors. have a good weekend.

Pierre

Silke,

Hi Silke,

the contrast in tone from the silver grey subject to the background is great .. really adds to the dimension and makes your statue leap from the screen .. great moment .. well done.

take care,

John

Hi Silke, fun photo, lovely walking statue, very well done, have a nice week end, ciao Silvio

Hi Silke,
A quite common view in the touristic places of our european cities during the season, LOL for being shot in Britain I find this one quite Napoleonian in style ;-)
Have a nice sunday JY

Bonjour Silke, photo original d'un saltimbanque tout aussi original, bien vu,
Salutations
Jean-Pierre

Hi Silke!
I always enjoy these living statues we meet in cities, entertaining tourists, and true, it must be funny seeing one walking! I like the reduced colours in your picture, that suit the grey colour of the "statue" very well.
TFS.
Marie Louise.

Hi Silke, What a fun photo, & your note is excellent, I love the B/W mix even if it is his clothes, your POV is perfect catching his great expression, well composed & TFS, kind regards Wilson.

hello Silke,
this is good fun. You did well to get such a good composition. I like the Englishness of it, with the green tile fronted pub in the background.

Hi Silke. A most unusual and creative capture. Well arranged to have the statue walking. Very good colours and presentation. TFS. Murray.
