Photographer’s Note

This is known as Bat's Head to the west of Durdle Door in Dorset. You can just see in the middle of the picture at the bottom of the chalk cliff, there is a 'mousehole', the start of an arch carved out by the waves of the sea.

This picture was taken a long time ago when I was using my Pentax P30 camera. It is scanned from a print using the Epson Stylus CX3200.

I straigtened it in Picasa2 and sharpened which resulted in noise to the sky, so ran through NeatImage. In doing so, it 'smoothed' out the sea a bit, but I think the overall effect made it worthwhile.

Technical details not available.

Thanks for stopping by.
