Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

This morning my photograph shows a most unusual building. I just love the shape; is it something from a space mission, a turtle's shell or a bomb shelter, or just a room with a view!

Actually, it is the top of renown chef, Gary Rhodes's restaurant, The Dome. You can see why the restaurant bears that name! It is situated on Plymouth Hoe with fine views of the sea.

Inside, the restaurant is very modern, just what you would expect from a well known chef. For those who may not have heard of him, I will add this link which tells all about the chef.

I will also add a w/s here which I took inside the restaurant, showing the dome from underneath. You will, also, be able to see the top of Smeaton's Tower, which I posted yesterday.

Having told you all this about the restaurant, I would love to be able to talk to you about the food. But, what can I say, when we arrived, they had just stopped serving food and we were only able to order a drink ... which was fine!

Have a lovely day,
Bev :-)
