Photographer’s Note
This is the old harbour in Torquay. These days there is probably more activity going on in the marina next door.
Torquay is a popular destination with tourists visiting Devon. It has a lovely large sweeping beach and the main town sits on several hills, so the hotels have beautiful views of the bay.
Other than slight cropping, this picture is as it came out of the camera.

Hello,
I like this kind of picture, did you try to have a long exposure maybe with a Grey filter, that's give a special effect of the water.
Happy new year

Hi Sarah,
Nice shot. The reflection on the water, the foreground and triangle shape of the background make this picture stand out. Please also try to use small aperture for landscape shot and compare the different.

Oh, this is a nice composition! But I agree with greg64g that a grad filter will probably improve the lighting conditions. Cheers!
