Low tide in Teignmouth.
Teignmouth is a town in Teignbridge in the English county of Devon, situated on the north bank of the estuary mouth of the River Teign about 14 miles south of Exeter. It has a population of 14,413. In 1690, it was the last place in England to be invaded by a foreign power. The town grew from a fishing port associated with the Newfoundland cod industry to a fashionable resort of some note in Georgian times, with further expansion after the opening of the South Devon Railway in 1846. Today, its port still operates and the town remains a popular seaside holiday location.

as Denis mentioned, its a good example of how to use and experiment with depth of field.
and its an attractive photo too, so of course that helps alot.
I like the way the boats are cut and cropped in a disorganized type of way, looks great.

Another delightful photograph from your recent visit to England!
I like the tall portrait format and I also like how you have used a wide aperture to limit the depth of field and concentrate your focus on "Forty Love". I wonder if the boat belongs to Andy Murray or some other tennis player?
Lovely light and colours, good almost symmetrical composition, perfect exposure and excellent sharpness.
A very interesting note about Teignbridge too!

interesting minimal composition with those boats, better to say with 'Forty Love'. Excellent colours. Great use of shallow depth of field. Beautiful indeed. Tfs.

The irregular pattern of the scattered boats make for a wonderful subject indeed. Your shallow dept of field has created a sublime effect here.
have a great day
