Lovely serene and tranquil atmosphere captured with this photo in the woods. I can almost hear the rustle of the falling leaves and the river flowing. The effect on the running water with slow shutter speed works well here. Very well portrayed the beauty of nature. Nice one with natural light and colours and excellent clarity. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful autumn shot. The way you have framed this scene is flawless, with good detail and excellent contrast and colours in the trees. I like the lovely carpet of leaves on the ground, and the blurred stream flowing around. The moss on the right tree is well captured also. You've caught the atmosphere of the place perfectly. A really atmospheric autumn composition.
Have a nice Sunday.

ahh! this is lovely. A glimpse of autumn that is both attractive and enticingly beautiful. I love your POV and the slow shutter that makes the waters all silky and magical. Immaculate detail and light management make this a real winner. Love it!
Enjoy your Sunday - B.
Endless rain has made moss appear in unique places this year, including my car window frames!! :-(

A pleasant reminder of autumn before this truly awful weather got under way. I like the low angle of view and the use of the long exposure to capture the motion in the rushing waters. The image is pleasantly lit and has agreeable natural colours and excellent sharpness.

Wonderful forest scenery with very pleasant colors. The 1/2 second exposure has just blurred the water enough to give the stream a good dynamise. It is a very attractive composition indeed.
have a great sunday

What a beautiful autumnal landscape post! The long exposure of water gave a fantastic touch to the scene and made it so unique. Well done! TFS!
Have a nice Sunday!

I wonder how many Watersmeet there are in the world! We certainly have one in our region but, maybe, not quite as pretty as this one.
I love how you have composed this shot, the trees, the carpet of moss and leaves, the silkily flowing water, all so beautifully integrated in this autumn scene.
I wonder where the water levels are now. Not as here, I suppose!
Have a lovely Sunday,

very pretty autumn view. The water has been nicely captured in long exposure and it adds very much to this scene. The trees are losing their leaves already but the lush moss adds plenty of green tone and makes the landscape look almost like from some fairyland. The brown leaves on the ground contrast with other colors.
Thanks for sharing and have a nice Sunday

This is fantastic, love how we can get a glimpse of the silky water in amongst the gorgeous green moss and autumnal leaves.
Splendid Pov, beautifully managed and presented.

Hello Les - An image with subject matter that is very much to my liking and with details that take me straight back to England! A fabulous autumn scene with the leaves on the turn, I notice a few fallen oak leaves on the ground and it wont be long before the trees are bare. Good choice of SS, I have been struggling with getting this right in daylight under the harsh light of Namibia and see here that you used a half second. I shall try that as your results are super. A lovely shot. Stay dry and have a good week Rosemary

It seems like autumn is the most attractive season for photographers, the variety of colours is much greater than in all other seasons. This is a very attractive scene with the little brook streaming along here. I wonder what this place looks like today.

This is a beautifully tranquil scene with beautiful natural colours, not overdone, and with the tranquillity further reinforced by the smoothness of the flowing water as a result of your use of a slow shutter speed. I wonder if you used a ND filter for this or if the light was sufficiently low for you to be able to use such a long exposure?
Your composition is both excellent and pleasing and the details and sharpness are exqusite.

Amazing autumnal scdenery, perfect captured. Long exposure time anf f/11 was a good choice, as it adds a dynamism to the river.
TFS and best regards

Autumn and the golden colors of the leaves and long exposition capture creates a good nature composition
Lot of details to admire as the covered green tronc of the tree at the right that works as a kind of frame
Great work, enjoy watching
