Photographer’s Note
Smeaton's Tower was originally built in 1759 as a lighthouse on treacherous rocks that were situated 14 miles off shore from Plymouth. It was dismantled and the top two thirds rebuildt on the Hoe in Plymouth in 1877.

Colin,
You had a very nice day in Plymouth! The lighting and colors are great with nice sharpness and DOF. The red and white tower is contrasted by the deep blue sky. I have a shot of Smeaton's Tower in my gallery but the weather was not as good for me.
TFS,
Asa
