Photographer’s Note

A Brittany Ferries passenger ferry (MV Pont Avon) service to Santander this journey takes about 16 hours which is very quick compared to the 35 hours that it takes from Portsmouth, the vessel looks like it is heading straight towards a Royal Navy Frigate which I think is HMS Portland just heading back into port from a Sea Trial, you can tell this because the ship is not flying any flags and so has not yet been handed back to the Royal Navy yet. Excuse the quality of this photograph as it was from my Phone, but it was a photograph which I had to take!!!!
