Photographer’s Note

The this week in Plymouth we are enjoying a Blues and Jazz festival of music.
Playing in and around the historic Barbican area there are lots of free events going on. Here we see diners enjoying the lovely sounds of a man playing the clarinet.
Listening to music on a CD or what ever is one thing, but to listen to live music is a whole new experience, to watch the skill of the musician and the obvious passion with which they play and pleasure they get from playing is almost as important as what they are playing.
