What better way to spend a fine November day, than to take a walk on the moors high above Peter Tavy before heading home as evening approaches....

A well composed image with the track coming into frame at the bottom right corner helping to draw the viewer into the scene. The walkers are well placed and contribute to the mood of the shot. I like the slightly misty atmosphere to be seen in the background and the agreeable natural colours.

wonderful this Devon's landscape flooded into light, colours are maybe slightly penalized, but the atmosphere certainly earns in charm.Great sensation of depth and excellent composition, with two lines (wall and path) leading us virtually to the centre of the scene.I loved a lot hiking in this area.

Funnily enough, when I first saw this I wondered if you had set up your camera and tripod with your camera on self-timer and you and Gladys had walked into the shot. Or did you simply capture another pair of walkers heading off home?
Whatever, this is a fine picture, very well composed. The lonely tree sits nicely at the left vertical dividing line of thirds and the wall beside it and the narrow footpath both lead the eye well into the picture and down into the misty lands below.
Lovely subdued colours typical of this time of year, perfect exposure and superb detail and sharpness.

What a fabulous footpath leading into the misty distance. The tree and the couple add a lot to this fine landscape. Beautiful - wish I was there!
Best wishes, Ann

I really like the composition. The footpath leads us into the shot from one side and the wall does the same from the other. The walkers are well positioned close to where these two lead in lines appear to meet.

Really beautiful landscape and atmospheric photo. I like a lot the aerial perspective given by the misty fields in the distance. The walkers are sure a very good inclusion (in an ideal world, perhaps that they would be a bit higher in the path?). It must have been a glorious day for walking!

I like it! It has some sort of winter atmosphere that a like a lot - the mist, the very soft light, the couple walking along the path. A nice landscape and composition with that stone wall and the tree. Very good light and dof!
