This picture was taken on the border of Devon and Cornwall, on a very misty early morning.
Amazingly, the daffodils on the hedge herald `Spring has arrived`despite the mist.

The silvery mist makes an excellent backdrop for this attractive row of trees. The daffodils springing forth (sorry for the pun) add a nice splash of colour. I should also say I like the composition which is well thought out. If I have one small criticism, it is that you cut the top of the foremost tree.

A beautifully composed shot with the daffodils and the focal tree so well placed, whilst the path guides us into the mystery of the misty countryside.
I love the atmosphere of a misty morning, when the country seems to be struggling to cast off its sleepiness.
Isn't it refreshing to see the spring flowers!
Last year, we didn't see the daffodils until well into April because of the snow and low temperatures.
Have a great day,

I guess this could have been perceived as a dull place at that moment, so I am glad that you saw the beauty of the mist and the subdued colours. The road, and the trees to the left looking quite majestic, give the composition quite good depth, until it's lost in the mist.

I like this! The daffodils are the first sign of Spring. I like the misty atmosphere and the little road leading to the unknown.
