Another shot taken at the Launceston and North Cornwall Motor Club Trial at Eastcott Wood last Sunday, this time a more sedate MG which negotiated the hill climb with ease.
As you can tell the light was far from the best but it was an enjoyable experience.

A fine capture of this classic car negotiating the muddy hill. Well placed and nicely depicted with very good detail. These sorts of events are always interesting, much more so than a Grand Prix race in my opinion.

I am a big fan of old cars, MG real a nostalgia car in England, this is something for us friend John Cannon a great cognoscente of old cars.
I love this nice picture taken in panning.
Also in a nice area or these forest.
You took these picture with a very well quality.

this looks wonderful. An old beauty of a car that has so much character and looks so at home in this setting. They do not make them like this any more, unfortunately. Captured and presented gloriously.

Ce n'est pas nécessairement une ballade du dimanche qu'affronte cette magnifique voiture qui se promène dans les bois et la boue. Le mouvement est bien saisi et on ressent une impression d'aventure.

A good image from the same place than 2 days ago, maybe less dramatic !! but very nice too
I like those old cars and i did not know that they could endure such roads !!

This must have been a great experience not only for those in the car but also for you. We can imagine the speed of this fine old car. You chose a fine location for the shot with a curve in the foreground an the road behind the car creating good depth. The brown and green tones are very pleasant too.

Ce ne doit pas être évident de conduire cette vénérable automobile sur un tel terrain.
Joli coup d’œil, bien vu et bien cadré. Une belle image en plein action.
Bonne fin de semaine.
It should not be easy to drive this car on such a venerable field.
Nice look, well done and well framed. A beautiful image in full action.

I love car races (I am fan of Dakar Railly) and this cspture from such a good angle has plenty of interest because of the old car still alive
Photo that is a kind of document
Well done, at the right place and moment

You got the focussing just right on this wonderful old car, so you managed the low light conditions very well. A nicely organised composition. Very well done.
Kind Regards, Ann

Well this one if right up my street! A cracking picture of this 1930s MG manfully climbing a muddy trail through the woods.
You have done very well to capture such a sharp image as this in such low light and with a slow (1/40 second) shutter speed. The light and colours are excellent as also are the details and clarity.
P.S. I see from your exif data that you are using "DXO Optics Pro v6" software. That's a new one to me. Do you like it and where did you get it?

I thought this was a photo of John Tyro in his old vintage car driving like a mad man through the wood :) I like the angle you got the car at, with the wheels turned like that, in fact it looks like he's heading straight for you. Excellent light management and impressive reflex skills reacting to this fella coming straight at you with little notice.
Have a lovely weekend
