We visited N.Devon yesterday and the farmers had been working long hours to harvest their crops, mostly wheat.
This field of stooks looked all neat and tidy and looked a worthy picture.

Nice countryside view with a good photo, good effect with the curve of the field and with the contrast with this cloudy sky in the BG.

Stunning..............I'm speechless, or should that be, wordless.
This could be the '30's or '40's, I haven't seen a field like this in decades.
One wee tip: the steeple & poles are leaning slightly, go to your 'edit' program & staighten the image. I just did this on workshop........ have a look & see what you think.

A very attractive composition that epitomises the harvest season in England. I like very much the lines formed by the stooks of wheat, which make a lovely contrast with the adjacent green fields. The squat church tower makes a fine focal point. Excellent technical realisation. I wish you and Les a pleasant Sunday.

I am already different years look to this type picture, this do me think at my childhood on the farm of parents, after WAR II.
With all perfect details.
You show us a wonderful sharp and clear picture.
Excellent composition, nice presentation. Very well done, TFS.
Have a nice Sunday,

Great! Today it is difficult to find such bundles, the harvest takes place in the fields of machine and we can only see the bales, splendid photo

Yes, definitely worth a picture! It is a lovely scene and you have captured it perfectly - well, Edward (Spyder) did straighten it for you (!) - and of course, as many others have also commented, it is the presence of those wonderful "stooks" which makes it so appealing as well as bringing back many old memories for a lot of us.
Your composition is excellent and I love how the lines of the stooks in the field curve around and lead us from the foreground toward the church and then off to the left and into the distance. Gorgeous light and colours and excellent details and sharpness.
