A quite poor light , but a splendid capture of this wonderful rural landscape , partially covered by mist . The presence of sheep in the FG is an excellent bonus .

Hello Gladys,

I've just spent a few minutes switching between this picture and this previous one, obviously taken on the same day, and I've been trying to make up my mind as to which I prefer. But, as is often the case, I just can't decide!

Perhaps the inclusion of just the tiniest sliver of sky in this one gives it more appeal as the pale sky is not distracting. But, again, the softness of the mist is well portrayed with the early morning light upon it and we can just glimpse the trees beneath it.

Good composition, perfect exposure, nice soft colours and excellent detail.

What an idyllic scene you have captured. I think this is one example where the softer approach (as opposed to hard contrasting) has really worked. The mist is lovely and certainly adds to the mood. Beautiful soft colurs and your little models are very cute.
