This wind blown tree high on Dartmoor has grown beside a Bronze Age stone hut.
We`re told that the climate then would have been rather more hospitable back then than it is now.

A beautiful Dartmoor picture. I've never been there but I heard of it as a beautiful place to see. Your composition is well balanced with the tree at the third of the picture. Nice brown winter colours.

A wonderful capture of this scene. A very balanced composition, with the tree properly presented on a side. The circle of rocks leads the attention of the viewer through the scene, while the clouds add to strong evocative feeling of the landscape.

c'est une magnifique composition, les couleurs sont superbes avec un beau ciel nuageux. L'arbre et le sol donnent un beau mouvement à la photo.

I like the mood of seeming loneliness you captured in this scene. A wind blown tree that stood different weather conditions, but still standing tall and proud against a backdrop of what it seems another looming storm. Nice work!

A fine composition this, with the tree ideally placed. A splendid evocation of the wild beauty of Dartmoor.

This is a lovely scene you have presented and, you know, you really are so very good at depicting these wild landscapes from Dartmoor.
How interesting that this crooked windswept tree should have appeared at the site of an old Bronze Age dwelling and perhaps it would have had an easier life had it been born a few thousand years earlier in warmer climes!
The tree is perfectly placed in the frame and its skeletal branches stand out beautifully against a gorgeous blue sky which itself is beautifully contrasted with the warm earthy colours of the windswept grasses and heaths.
Gorgeous light and colours, perfect exposure and stunning details and sharpness.

Almost not to believe that these picture is taken in England, I would think in Africa.
This is really a wonderful landscape picture, also a very nice panorama image with the tree, and the Bronze stone hut.
Sharpness and clarity be superb.
Very well done, TFS.
Have a nice weekend,

This is like a painting from the 19th century, great graphism of the form of this tree, excellent composition, beautiful sky

Amazing capture of this mysteious but beautiful landscape with good pov.
Nice cloudy sky creates a perfect background to the scnenery.
And of course the lonesome tree adds a fine touch to your compo.
TFS and best regards

A lone tree shaped by the wind, rendered in excellent color and skillful composition. I'd love to see it in the spring and summer, too.

We can almost hear the wind here, it's quite visible on the tree and plants. I like the atmosphere, the colours and the composition with the wind blown tree, the ruins of the little house and the beautiful sky.
