Hello Les,
A very attractive landscape composition featuring this fast flowing river rendered as a silky sheen by the long exposure time. Lovely fresh green tones, nicely contrasted by the red tree. Excellent clarity. Fine work.

Hi Les
Good to see you're getting your money's worth out of the Big Stopper. They're such fun. And here I think the light was kinder to you, where everything is perfectly exposed and the water smoothed out like that looks so magical. I think the ND has also brought out the colours of the trees so well. An excellent photo but my only technical question is why did you use f/4.5?
Cheers

Hello Leslie,
Magic atmosphere. It seems to hear the sound of the water. Also, very well composed. I don`t know what I like better: the smoothness of the water, the colors or the background.
Have a nice evening,
Regards,
Maria

The depth and clarity of the greenery is excellent as expected in such a setup.
My interest in the photograph is because of the contrast - of the haze of the fast flowing water over a rapid, and the clarity of the waving weeds and grass in the forground .... (Is there a light white flare over the green weeds ?)
Thanks for sharing.

Hi Les,
Beautiful shot you got here. Excellent quality shot with the slow shutter speed, giving the water a smooth and silking texture while the rest of the elements, trees and foreground vegetation are pin sharp. Excellent exposure, the color are vivid and the light management is perfect with balance light and contrast. Such a lovely and pure and refreshing nature shot.

Hello Leslie
This is the essence of poetry expressed with an impeccable technique to create an ethereal flow.
You found the right decor for listening to Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons" played on a Roberts Revival portable DAB radio, while sitting on canal bank!!
Cheers.
Robert
