Whilst at Denham Bridge near Buckland Monachrorum another opportunity to play with the Big Stopper arose.

another of your stunning river shots. You excel at these and this is another fine example. Soothing colours and a dreamy effect that just looks so attractive and irresistible. Love it!

A very attractive landscape composition featuring this fast flowing river rendered as a silky sheen by the long exposure time. Lovely fresh green tones, nicely contrasted by the red tree. Excellent clarity. Fine work.

Good to see you're getting your money's worth out of the Big Stopper. They're such fun. And here I think the light was kinder to you, where everything is perfectly exposed and the water smoothed out like that looks so magical. I think the ND has also brought out the colours of the trees so well. An excellent photo but my only technical question is why did you use f/4.5?

Ola Leslie ,
Beleza o uso de 15 segundos nesta foto deu uma bela sensação de movimento da agua ,gostei desse filtro ND 10 , muito bons os detalhes e cores, parabéns!!

Magic atmosphere. It seems to hear the sound of the water. Also, very well composed. I don`t know what I like better: the smoothness of the water, the colors or the background.
Have a nice evening,

this is a amazing view! What colors and sharpness you got! It is a HDR ou only RAW edition?

very good color rendering on the compositon of a very attractive place.
The slow speed of the shooting provides a nice atmosphere to this place.

The depth and clarity of the greenery is excellent as expected in such a setup.
My interest in the photograph is because of the contrast - of the haze of the fast flowing water over a rapid, and the clarity of the waving weeds and grass in the forground .... (Is there a light white flare over the green weeds ?)
Thanks for sharing.

your viewpoint here is superb so low and so close to the water's edge. great framing with the tree overhead and the branches spreading across the top of the image. the colours are wonderful. excellent effect of the river movement.

Amazing landscape, amazing capture.
Very good pov and layout.
15 seconds shutter speed was a good choice, showing the flood perfectly.
TFS and best regards

Beautiful shot you got here. Excellent quality shot with the slow shutter speed, giving the water a smooth and silking texture while the rest of the elements, trees and foreground vegetation are pin sharp. Excellent exposure, the color are vivid and the light management is perfect with balance light and contrast. Such a lovely and pure and refreshing nature shot.

This is the essence of poetry expressed with an impeccable technique to create an ethereal flow.
You found the right decor for listening to Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons" played on a Roberts Revival portable DAB radio, while sitting on canal bank!!
