[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Derby Feste event earlier this autumn brought many thousands of people onto the streets to witness a spectacle of smoke, lights, anamatronics and fire from one of Spain's leading processional celebratory arts companies, Sarruga Street Theatre. Here one of the dragons makes it's entrance to the main square. You have to imagine the music, the buzz of the crowd and the smells - that's your job in viewing this image!!

Apologies again for posting such an image here - this is one to be viewed on a large scale - but I thought it might still be of interest to some TE members.

best wishes kev

Hi Kev,

Being part of your delicate core interest group ;-) I feel that I have to comment on this one, despite the fact that it has to be seen on A1 format :-).
I've seen comparable street theatre groups in the Netherlands and it is really a feast for the eye, and the camera.
The red tones on the faces to the left are a bit overly done - like a great steak ;-). But next to that a pleasant explosion of colours in the night.

Greetings,
Dennis

Back in familiar territory here, I'm surprised this has so little response, it all seems to work well for me, from the foreground arrangement of the dragon thingy, to the tilted smokey event in teh background.
