We splitted in 2 groups: one was visitng a castle while the second one was wandering in the street of Tissington, and having a nice cup of tea to get warmer. rain was still pouring!!!!

This is quite an original composition, but it shows that good photo opportunities could be found anywhere if you just use your eyes. Good colours and light in spite of the circumstances.

Ah, ha, this is where you were when we were being bored in the castle! At least we all found somewhere to keep dry on that miserable wet day.
You have a wonderfully sharp eye for a picture and this proves that fact yet again! The brightly coloured jacket of the cyclist stands out brilliantly through the rain spattered plastic window of the marquee and the window itself frames him perfectly.
You have coped with the difficult lighting conditions extremely well to produce a delightfully clear and colourful photograph with perfect exposure and exquisite details and sharpness.

On est mieux à l'intérieur! Une photo très originale comme tu sais si bien les faire.

Hi Claude - Your shot shows that we should be observant in all situations as there is always a picture waiting to be shown. A simple opportunistic shot which tells the story without the need for words. Nicely done.

This image is something a little abstraction making the best of rain at least you've made use of the weather to create an interesting and imaginative image. Seemingly simple at first glance but actually a complex image; Love the Light / shade, lines, shapes, vivid colour at various levels and a focus to finish it off, but very comforting to see you were indoors!!!! Superb idea that works. Congrats

Yet another take on the rainy Buxton trip, so different from Will's and Ann's but equally captivating.
You have an eye for unusual compositions of everyday situations that is visible throughout your work. Here, in one frame, you conveyed the people, the landscape (with just the hint of green but creating obvious presence), and above all the weather and mood.
Have a nice weekend

Yes - we were dry but not too warm! I see your long zoom lens helped to compose this shot here which you have framed well making great use of the colour read to add brightness to the dull day! Well observed.
