On a recent holiday to a hilly region in the North of England (the Peak District) we paid a visit to a fantastic National Trust property known as Chatsworth House.
This is a magnificent building that is set in 35,000 acres of natural landscape. As well as being a property where the Trust allows you to take photographs inside (quite a rareity?!) you can also visit some of the gardens and these outlying natural areas.
This shot was taken in the Cottage Garden. I am so pleased with the colours that I've ended with They seem so vibrant, coupled with the fact that I din't need a macro lense, I'm quite chuffed.
Perhaps I might continue with this wildlife photography? |
