A photo of the commemorative flypast of one of the 'Dambusters' 617 Squadron Lancaster Bombers over Chatsworth House. The aircraft was accompanied by a Spitfire followed a few minutes later by a modern day Tornado aircraft. The photo was taken from Curbar Edge overlooking the Derwent Valley.

being not acquainted with the local situation, I would like to know if this is a part of the famous Machynlleth loop low flying area in Wales?
However - a great tribute to 617 squadron.
How does it come that British WW II aircraft are numerous and still in a good shape?
Regards from a former target
