Photographer’s Note

Good Morning Everyone,

Last week, my husband and I, met up with fellow photographer Kath (Feather) and her husband, at Grasmere in the Lake District.

We had decided upon a walk from that most beautiful of villages but found, on arrival, that the tourist information office was no longer in existence. Anyway, a personable cafe proprieter recommended a walk to Easdale, promising to send out a search part if we hadn't returned within four hours!

Her recommendation was a good one! The walk was all the things you expect in The Lakes: ruggedly beautiful, colourful, breathtaking, thought provoking and, at times, awe inspiring. The fine weather assisted our enjoyment and, of course, was better for photography.

This is the beginning of our walk, where the stony path is leading through flatter fields towards the steep valley of Sour Milk Ghyll.

I'm pleased to say, the search party was unnecessary and we had a fabulous day!

Many thanks for stopping by.
Please feel free to offer feedback on any aspect of the photograph. Bev :-)
